Like any artist, I have a workflow on how I exactly do my commissions. On this page, I will explain how I work on my commissions.
Like any artist, I collect my commission requests at a central point. This way, I have a clear overview of what I have. For this, I work with a commission form, which I provide through Google forms. Perhaps you already saw the commission form come by in one way or another.
The form.
As a 3D artist, I am however limited in what I can provide. I require a lot of premade assets to create models and for that, I am limited to the library of assets that is available. Due to this, the chance exists that assets that I will need do not exist (yet) for a commission, or there is a chance that I simply do not own the assets in question just yet.
I do not want to calculate the price of assets through to my customers. And because of that, filling in the form simply means that you are now on a waiting list to get your commission made. I’m now aware of the fact that you wish to commission me, and due to that, I can actively scout out assets for your commission.
This scouting, or grace period can take long. Anywhere from a few days to a few months. It is entirely possible that other people get ahead of you with their commission. Please be patient, and don’t fill in the form again. Your commission will come once I’m able to make it. If you’re uncertain whether I got your commission, message me on my socials. You’re required to fill in an email address so that a copy of your form can be sent to you. This way you have a confirmation that I have your request.
The answer.
Once I am ready to do your commission, I will send you an email through the email address that you have provided. I will at this point confirm multiple things with you. I will confirm whether your interest is still there and confirm the total price of your commission. I will give you a summary of the commission that I have gotten from you and will ask whether this is still correct. I will also ask whether there is anything that you would want changed, and if I need additional details, I will ask for those. Lastly, I will also request you to give me the PayPal account that I can send the invoice to.
From here, I will wait for your response. I will need all of the details I have requested in this response, and from there, we go over to payment.
Payment
To prevent scamming, I will always ask for payment up front. Payment will be done through a PayPal invoice for the agreed price. It will also describe the kind of commission you have requested. The moment at which you pay can be flexible, however work will not be done until the amount due is paid. As soon as payment is visible on my side, I will start work on your commission.
Work.
From here, I will work on the commission you have requested. I will keep you updated, and will complete your commission within 14 days. You will only get 1 revision in total, so make sure that it counts. Tell me everything you feel is wrong, and I will do my best to fix it.
Delivery
Once I’m finished with your commission, I will deliver it in the standard render sizes I use. This means that they will be rendered at 4k, and will be delivered to you with a signature, the same way I always release my work. Normally, I will always release commissions publicly as well, so if you want to keep your commission private, be sure to let me know. The one exception I make on this however, is if I find out that you did share it yourself. At that point, I will release the piece personally as well.
If this sounds good to you, and you’d like me to make a commission for you, you can fill in my commission request form through the following link:
